Practicing beginning sounds can be a tricky task but this game makes it easy and fun for kids. In this game the teacher decides which open mouth is collecting each letter. The students then have to sort the pictures into the correct mouth. This can be played where students are working on letter sounds or they can work on upper and lower case letter identification.

The open mouths can be cut out and changed based on the holiday season. Students will love this game while you are collecting some literacy documentation.
