Here's what your Santa Craft Christmas Math Craft and Activities include...

DECEMBER SANTA CRAFT DIRECTIONS

8 easy-to-follow pages of step-by-step instructions on how to assemble your Santa math craft with your students.

CHRISTMAS MATH ACTIVITIES: PRINTABLE PDF PAGES

6 printable pages for your students. 3 printable pages to go with the math craft AND/OR 3 printable pages to go with a craft-only option if you do not want to do the math activity. This product can be completed as a holiday project with or without the math facts on Santa's beard.

CHRISTMAS MATH ACTIVITIES: DIGITAL COMPANION GOOGLE SLIDES

Each digital slide reviews sums to 20.

CHRISTMAS MATH ACTIVITIES: DIGITAL COMPANION POWERPOINT SLIDES

This product now includes the same digital slides as the Google Slides™ in a PowerPoint™ version.

These December math activities are perfect for first or second-grade students. The Santa craft is great not only for math class but also for practicing fine motor skills when rolling the papers for Santa's beard. Directions are included to assist you with demonstrating with your class.

These Santa Craft Christmas Math Activities Supports Common Core Standards:

CCSS.1.OA.C.6

Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).

Are you looking to do this project with older students? Try the multiplication Santa instead.
