Product Description
This assignment was given in the book Save Me a Seat by Sarah Weeks and Gita Varadarajan. This activity allows you to incorporate it into your own classroom while reading this as a read aloud with your class. It's a quick read, has great lessons, and will be a great icebreaker activity in the beginning of the year to allow students to share a little about themselves and get to know each other. If you like this one, check out my Multicultural lesson using Amina's Voice. These two books are all about accepting diversity and loving each other through our differences.
