This assignment was given in the book Save Me a Seat by Sarah Weeks and Gita Varadarajan. This activity allows you to incorporate it into your own classroom while reading this as a read aloud with your class. It's a quick read, has great lessons, and will be a great icebreaker activity in the beginning of the year to allow students to share a little about themselves and get to know each other.
