Saxon Math Course 1 Review: Lessons 1–120

This review packet is based on my year-long Saxon Math curriculum map and covers Course 1 Lessons 1–120. It is designed to provide consistent practice and reinforcement of key math skills throughout the year.

The review pages are sequenced to provide practice with concepts taught during the previous week of instruction. They can also be used as exit tickets on the day a lesson is taught, making this resource flexible for a variety of classroom needs.

To allow students additional practice with challenging concepts, some lessons have been combined. Lessons were combined when they are located close together in the textbook or when they cover closely related skills. For example, lessons on multiples and least common multiples are reviewed together. This pacing also provides extra practice opportunities for concepts that benefit from repeated review, such as fractions, decimal operations, and solving equations.

For a detailed list of which lessons have been combined, please download my free Saxon Math Curriculum Map.

To support student learning, I also provide free math lesson videos that correspond to these Saxon Math lessons. You can find them on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@sarahsschoolsubjects-6thgrade. Links to my other grade-level channels can be found on every channel's page.

Interpret and compute quotients of fractions, and solve word problems involving division of fractions by fractions, e.g., by using visual fraction models and equations to represent the problem. For example, create a story context for (2/3) Γ· (3/4) and use a visual fraction model to show the quotient; use the relationship between multiplication and division to explain that (2/3) Γ· (3/4) = 8/9 because 3/4 of 8/9 is 2/3.
