Description

This engaging project will give students a real world application for scale factor and scale drawings.

In this activity, students work with a scale drawing of "The Math Café" and answer questions. Then, they redesign the restaurant. They reproduce the drawing at a different scale and create their own layout.

I love when creativity and math come together!

Answers are included for the questions about the floor plan.

A simple grading rubric is included as well.
