Description

This project is a great hands-on way for students to use measurements and math to recreate a scaled building/monument or a dream house that they would like to create! Students research measurements of buildings or monuments that they want to use and then create a scale to scale down to their model.

The document includes:

-A letter to parents explaining the project and asking for any materials to help their child create their model.

-An overview of the project, materials, expectations and requirements.

-A timeline to help the students stay on task (you can add the dates)

-2 planning pages- 1 for a monument and 1 for a dream house

-A table where the different measurements (actual and scaled) can be organized.

-A RUBRIC

-A REFLECTION for the students to answer when they have finished their project.
