Turn Math class into something more fun than paper and pencil drills to practice the ALGORITHM STRATEGY, by using this fun and interactive scavenger hunt game! It's also a great way to apply skills for standards NBT.B.7, NBT.B.8, NBT.B.9, and OA.A.1 using addition and subtraction for three-digit numbers.
Simply decide to play this game with the whole class or in small groups. The class/group will need to answer the questions correctly to complete the scavenger hunt! But be careful not to get a "sinking ship" card, or else you will need to go back to the card and try again!
This pack includes the downloads of the word problem cards, directions for the card locations, teacher's answer key, and an ADDITIONAL WORKSHEET!
