Description
Improve your students' attendance routines each day with this daily check-in chart. Help your students develop responsible habits each night and morning before school, encouraging them to be prepared, get moving, and get to school each day.
Students are often motivated when they are able to see the progress they are making in completing a task. This attendance routine chart encourages them to have their backpack packed, in place, and ready to go the night before along with a decision about what to wear. In the morning, they can also follow a routine to keep them on the right track and ready to leave for school on time.
This resource includes color options for the chart (including a black and white version) and many options for their daily tasks and marking each task as complete.
You may have your students use the ready-made routine statements or you can have them write their own. Once created, students can hang them somewhere at home and use the system each day.
These charts can be made with individual students, or you may make routine charts with your School Attendance Small Groups. The chart would also be a great activity during parent sessions.
There are 4 color options (cork, blue, yellow, and black/white). You can create the full chart with 8 rows or make a condensed version with 4 rows. The choice is yours!
Be sure to check out my Good Attendance ROCKS! and The Attendance Files products. They can also serve as additional small group sessions with my unit linked above.
