This project contains multiple pieces- the first page includes a "help needed" poster and description of job (activity directions), the second page includes the price list for materials, the third page is the blueprint of the school, the fourth page is a receipt for materials, and the fifth page is a letter template.

This project asks students to build a school with a budget of $1,000 to spend. They will make a list of all of their materials and choose the amounts they need within their budget. They will draw and label where the supplies will go on the building plan and make a list of your purchases on the receipt page. Then, they will write a letter to the school explaining why they chose to build the school the way they did.

This is a great extension activity for math or writing or any units relating to school.
