This resource provides a simple measuring activity for a Back to School getting to know the school building task. Students read the riddle and are given the measurement after each riddle. Then measure between dots on the given pages to find the answer to the riddle. There are three sets of riddle pages (all the same) with the type of measurement indicated at the top. Each page with dots also is labeled with the type of measurement used. Directions are provided with the document. Measurements are in inches, centimeters, and 1/2 inches. The riddles are fairly simple and may or may not apply to every school building.
