Resource Description
There are two components to this resource, a science report booklet and scientific method posters.
The Science Report Booklet is suitable for middle to upper primary students conducting an experiment. You pick this experiment and this booklet will help students to record their thinking. It contains sections for:
• Goal
• Hypotheses
• Materials
• Method
• Results
• Analysis and Discussion
... all with age- appropriate language and explanations.
The Scientific Method Posters complement the booklet, by providing an overview of how to conduct a science experiment and write a report. They would be great to use on the IWB during a lesson as well.
Contains:
• Science Experiement Booklet (4 pages)
• Scientific Method Posters (8 pages)
How to Use
• Choose an experiment and use the booklet to guide the students through each step.
• Use the posters as a pdf file on the IWB during the lesson to help guide students and keep them on track.
