  • Define Operationally
  • Variable
  • Hypothesize
  • Predict
  • Infer
  • Form Models
  • Interpret Data

This poster set is fantastic tool to help students focus on what science skills they use during classroom and lab experiences. During each lab experience in my classroom students use these posters, and the mini-guide in their binder, to identify three to five skills they used and write about how they used each one during the lab. Regularly identifying the science process skills as a part of the lab experience has dramatically helped my students recognize and understand what it means to be a scientist and improved their science state test scores.
