Description

Thank you for downloading this Lesson-Aid resource.

The scientific method teaches the brain to logically examine and process all the information it receives. By incorporating the scientific method regularly, students will begin to look at all the evidence before making a statement of fact.

But the scientific method isn’t just good for science, it is also a sequence that trains the student how to answer a question in a logical manner in other subjects and life. In short, the scientific method trains the brain to logically examine and process all the information it receives. When you teach your students to use the scientific method, it trains their brains to answer questions in a logical manner.

One of the most important features of the scientific method is its repeatability. Scientists follow the same steps each time they employ the scientific method. Allowing our students to follow the steps of the scientific method through repeated use of a standard form will serve to firmly etch this sequence into their minds.

This resource contains a one-page form for shorter, less involved experiments/labs and a two-page form for experiments/labs which require more information.
