Description
Students will create a comic strip story that shows a central character breaking at least seven lab safety rules. They will then trade comics with a partner and analyze what rules the character broke and how to correct the problems. This project is a fun way to assess lab safety. The comics will look great on a bulletin board display or in a science interactive notebook.
Distance Learning / Google™ Classroom Use:
- This project also includes a digital version of the direction sheet, rubric, and three comic templates. You can easily assign the digital version to students through Google™ Classroom or other secure applications where only your students have access. Note: The digital version has slightly different directions to accommodate distance learners.
