Description

Teach your students about transpiration, the process in which plants get water from the roots, travels through the stem, and evaporates out the stomata, leaf pores, through this fun and interactive lab. Cut the end off of the celery and place it in a cup with food coloring and water. Includes PDF and Digital worksheets! Includes vocabulary, videos, pictures, lab questions, and more!

You will need:
2 pieces of celery (per student)

2 clear cups or jars (per student)

Food Coloring

Scissors

Water

Spoon (per student)
