This year, I helped organize a STEAM and AMSTI Science Night at our school. We began with an educational presentation to teach parents about the new science and engineering standards. Then, we set up these task challenge centers for parents to complete with their children.
To say this night was a HUGE success would be an understatement! The task challenges in this set includes the following challenges in PDF format for easy printing:
-Tower Building Challenge
-Catapult Design STEAM Challenge
-Spaghetti Tower STEAM Challenge
-Marshmallow STEAM Challenge
-Index Card STEAM Challenge
-Stacking It Up STEAM Challenge
Not only can you use this for Science Night, you can also use the task cards to challenge your students and involve them in the Engineering Design Process! Enjoy!
