This is an exciting project for students of different ages! I have use this with my students over the years and they love it every time. It gives them the freedom and ownership of learning about an animal of their choice. For the teacher, it's a great way to assess students' presentation skills, research skills, writing skills, among other things. It's a perfect project to be used for open house! Parents love to see their child presenting both their report as well as their 3D model of the animal they chose.
