Description
This bundle consists of 6 different science readers. The readers are a resource for providing students with a basic knowledge of each topic. The text may be somewhat difficult for beginning readers, but it is simple enough that students should be able to partner read or independently read on subsequent readings. The content in these readers allows for discussion as students read/follow along with the teacher.
Easel Resource
Each reader includes a colored Easel version. Each reader also includes a self-checking activity page.
Student Engagement
These readers work well with a small group. Students are engaged as they read with the group and then with a partner/independently. A group discussion about what students have learned helps to keep them engaged. They also enjoy coloring the books, taking them home, and reading them to family members.
