This is a great way to introduce the importance scientific tools that the students will be using throughout the school year. The teacher will need to make a copy of the foldable and the definition sheet. Students will fold on the black line and cut on the dotted lines. Then they will cut out each definition and picture. Students will match up each picture with its definition and name. The teacher will introduce each science tool to the class and students will check to see if they identified them correctly. Then, students will glue the picture on the back of the flap and the definition on the inside.
