I used this during my unit about arborists. We talked about how arborists take care of trees and how they can determine the age of a tree by counting rings. We practiced on paper, then went outside to count rings on trees around our school grounds. A great resource.
Terriffic resource for students' interactive science notebooks as they learned about tree rings. Great notes and the accompanying diagrams are perfect. Thanks for a wonderful resource!
Very helpful, and well planned. Would purchase again.
Excellent way to review different growth patterns shown in tree cookies. My student use visual journals and this worked very well for the PAT review.
I used these images for my students to practice reading different tree cookies.
Awesome!
My students loved learning about trees!!
