This is a unit that I did with my first graders about fish.
This unit teaches:
- where fish live
- how fish move
- how fish breathe
- what fish eat
- the parts of a fish
- the fish life cycle
- KWL graphic organizers about fish
The workbook includes:
- KWL introduction chart (KW)
- life-cycle cut & paste
- life-cycle sequencing
- body parts fill-in
- fill-in-the-blank sentences about fish
- draw a fish
- KWL conclusion chart (WL)
My students really enjoyed doing this unit.
