These task cards present an experimental question and have students determine the independent variable, dependent variable, and constants. The questions overview a variety of 4th - 9th grade science topics such as force, motion, matter, etc. These task cards would be perfect for small groups, independent student work, or a substitute assignment. The digital task cards are self-grading and could be used for formative or summative assessment. I made these for my own classroom and use them as stations multiple times throughout the year!
