Description
In this worksheet “Do Magnets Surprise You?” there are two paragraphs about having fun with magnets and an explanation of things they lift, and what work they can do. The information, as well as a magnet photo, is likely to spark discussion. More importantly there is a built-in reading strategy that has students look back up to the text and use its context to answer ten comprehension questions. The questions are mostly literal comprehension ones, but do involve some inferential comprehension because it is necessary for students to draw conclusions. Using the strategy increases student retention. I’m sure that most 1st and 2nd graders can do the worksheet independently. The paragraphs probably have to be read to most kindergartners and/or they will need guidance from a teacher, teacher’s-aid, or parent. An answer key is included, which could even be used as a form for the students to self-check their work.

Was very hard and students were not engaged in it.
Thanks for your feedback. I'll find it, and maybe revise it if I feel it is necessary.
