Description
Engage your students in the Science and Engineering Practices from the beginning of the year using this distance learning-friendly digital notebook!
This COMPLETELY EDITABLE notebook takes students through engaging examples of each of the SEPs. More than just telling students about these practices, these pages have students engage in using them in familiar contexts. This is a great way to help students practice using evidence to support their answers while becoming more familiar with using Google Slides.
To change what a page says, simply click "View," then "Master" and edit the master slides as you see fit! This makes it difficult for students to change the text unintentionally. Tabs on the side are hyperlinked to the page for each practice and ready to go!
SPANISH VERSION now included! (Thanks largely to Google Translate, with a few edits by me. I am NOT fluent, so please let me know if you catch something that's incorrect!)
NOTE: My students tend to like snarky humor. A couple of slides manifest this. There is nothing inappropriate, but I do use COVID-19 topics and articles to make these practices incredibly relevant to what my students are experiencing. As always, modify things to suit your style and your students' needs!
