Description

Start teaching the Next Generation Science Standards with this activity. Students cut apart the two-page graphic organizer and glue them into their interactive notebooks. Then they cut apart each of the descriptions and match them to the correct practice, gluing them into their notebook under the appropriate flap.

This was okay, and I made it work, but I wished it had been easier to use in a digital notebook. Since it was only in PDF I had to take screenshots and translate that on to Google Slides for kids to manipulate digitally. A key would also have been good so I could leave this as a sub plan in the future or have students self-check their answers etc.

Thank you for your purchase and feedback! It does say in the product description that an answer key is not included, and the correct arrangement is listed so you could easily make a sample to share with your sub. This is definitely a resource designed for use as a print-and-glue format. I keep mine in my composition notebook to model and reference while kids are working, too.

This was a great introductory activity for my students. It was somewhat difficult for my students to read the font for the example/explanation of the practices. I wish this was a different font. But thanks for the resource. Do you have one for crosscutting concepts?
