This is one of my favorite activities that I did with my students because of how effective it was in preparing them for tests and quizzes! Unfortunately many students know they are judged off a test and if they perform poorly their confidence can decrease, also causing a decrease in their daily engagement. When we invest in teaching them test-taking skills specifically related to graphs it boosts their confidence and overall engagement.

In this worksheet they will have to analyze two graphs that pose a test-like question to them. The question high depth of knowledge requiring them to think critically and make conclusions. They will fill out a table where they will have multiple choice answers laid out for them. As they fill out the table they will have to analyze each answer choice relating to the question that was asked. This ensures that they continue to connect the answer they choose with what the question is specifically asking for. It helps them analyze their options and make the best decision.
