It's similar to other hands-on ways of engaging with material that you might be more familiar with such as foldables and flipbooks. This learning tool is a great way to enhance your lessons and ensure your students know all about the scientific method and how to apply it to an experiment of their own. Students will read about the history of the scientific method, what each step includes, and and why it's important. But they don't just read about these topics. Instead, they also brainstorm ways to apply each step to an upcoming science experiment and/or science fair. Important vocabulary terms and places for notes are included. The fans can be printed in either black and white or full color, and you can always decide which cards you want to include for your students. Clear instructions and an answer key for the vocabulary and student questions is included.
