This can be used as a Scientific Method Mini Lesson or Final Project, as it includes a middle school level outline for a Lab Write Up, and grading rubric. It also includes a full Scientific Method Lab Report packet, walking them through the process and teaching them as you go. Last but not least is a list of 12 terms that fit the unit, and a crossword activity.

This mini lesson covers science, Language Arts (writing) and Language Arts Extensions and is appropriate for 5th through 12th grades, as it is easily able to be scaled up or down.
