This contains a power point that goes through the 7 steps of the scientific method using the acronym Quickly Run Home Eating Chewy Gooey Cookies, another power point that covers what dependent, independent and control variables are along with some examples. The next power point will walk the students through a tin foil boat lab. There are two word documents included that give the students a way to collect data. One is a flow chart; the other is a short answer lab report template. I have also included my scientific method quiz to assess what the students have learned.
