What a great resource for students to practice and learn vocabulary words around behavior! I love the behavior books that they can make and the teacher notes as well!

We like to introduce the words during morning meeting and have students pair share or turn and talk about these words because we use these words all through the year.

• We have added word wall science vocabulary cards with the real photos from the book. I display them at the beginning of our unit on the scientific method and they help my students to make connections with how all the words relate to each other. There is a teacher guide on how to use the cards. The real photos have helped my ESL students to better understand the vocabulary words. They also like using them in the writing center. It helps them to stay on topic.

• And differentiated worksheets where students put words in sentence order. There are sheets with phonics and sheets without for your differentiated needs, and there is a bonus sentence or question at the bottom of each worksheet. I love using them in literacy centers during guided reading. I have also used them in my guided reading groups, especially when I first introduce how to complete the sheets. I enjoy the discussions we have when we are answering the questions. It builds critical thinking.
