Description

Engage students with a PROVEN method of retaining information. Use the Cornell notes style!! In this unique style, students take notes on the vocabulary given. The notes can also be doodle diagrams that help explain the vocab, great for ELL or struggling learners!! Students then sum up the information they learned in a paragraph. After the notes and summary are completed, students create a short quiz for themselves to go back to when they study the notes. This is a GREAT way to help retain information because they created the notes and information themselves. It STICKS!

**There is an EDITABLE docx version, so you can change what you wish!!**

  • Resource page included

Guide students along with a resource page. The resource page can be handed out for students who need assistance, or for all students at their desk. It can even be offered at the teacher help desk. This page goes over everything that should be found in their notes.

  • An answer sample is also included!!

The resource page and notes given can also be handed out to absent students for less work for you!

Thanks so much! Please check out my page if you are interested for more!
