This resource is designed to introduce seventh through nine grade students to the scientific method. Students work together to learn about experimental design, data collection and analysis using the 'work at your own pace' stations method. Each of my units has six assignments based on the following assignment types: Research, Data, Lab, Design, Explore, and Communicate.

Because we're unsure how teaching in the near future will occur, I've included a plan for teaching this unit in the physical classroom as well as a virtual learning environment.
