Are you working on animals with your students? Or do your students need to work on their category sorting skills? If so, these sea vs land animal sorting categories task cards are the perfect addition to your classroom.


Your kindergarten, special education and autism students will love working on their categorizing skills with these sea vs land animal habitat sorting cards.

There are 40 different task cards included. Each task card contains an image of an sea or land animal. Students need to decide where the animal belongs out of the 2 categories on the bottom of the card - sea or land.

The task cards are in col and b/w option for your printing preference.

Instructions

  • Print out the task cards.
  • Cut out and laminate the task cards.
  • Provide your students with a dry-wipe pen or clothing peg to choose their answer out of both categories.

My students enjoyed selecting the correct environment for the animals with a clothespin. They were plenty of cards. I printed two sets to double the amount to make sure each student in the small group had plenty of cards to explore.
