Second Grade Math Centers
Review some of the second grade math standards with eight stations with a fun s'more theme!
Perfect for beginning of the year third graders or end of the year second graders!
Stations included in this resource:
Place Value Sort: Students figure out what place value is underlined in each card. Sort and record answers on recording sheet. (12 cards)
Number Order: Students put sets of 4 numbers in order from least to greatest and record answers on recording sheet. (4 sets of four cards)
Standard and Expanded Form: Students match each standard form number with its expanded form. Record answers on recording sheet. (24 cards)
3-Digit Plus 3-Digit AdditionL Students draw 6 marshmallow cards to form two 3-digit numbers. Solve on recording sheet. (9 problems)
3-Digit Minus 3-Digit Subtraction: Students draw 6 marshmallow cards to form two 3-digit numbers. Solve on recording sheet. (9 problems)
Time for S'mores: Students look at analog time and have to determine digital time. Record on recording sheet. (12 cards)
S'more Rounding Practice: Students round numbers to the nearest 10 or 100 and record on recording sheet. (12 cards)
Word Problems: Students solve word problems and record answers on recording sheet. Sums/Differences up to 20. (12 cards)
Recommended Use: Print all math centers and scatter around the room. Have students work their way through each station and color in the menu sheet provided to keep track of what they have completed!
