This is the first unit of my Second Grade Math Interactive Notebook Series. The unit covers the following topics/standards:
-Addition/Subtraction Vocabulary
-Part/Part/Whole
-Counting On
-Counting Down
-Making 10
-Doubles
-Doubles +1
-Fact Families
-Addition is the Opposite of Subtraction
Each topic has and interactive notebook page for students to create and take notes on during lessons. Most of the foldables are sized for a spiral notebook but you could shrink them on a copier if you prefer composition notebooks. I've provided appropriate sized covers for both types of notebooks. This file only includes the foldables. You will have to create the actual lesson/anchor chart.

I just completed the first strategy with my small group and it was okay. I thought there would have been more strategy information for the students such as notes for a mini lesson or anchor chart for the students to understand the actual strategy and to be able to verbally explain.
I also wasn't sure what to do with some parts that had no directions, i.e. strategy fold-able . The directions could be a bit more clear.
Thank you for your feedback. I have added directions for the "Strategy" foldable. All of my interactive notebook files just include the actual foldables for the students to use, take notes, and practice the strategy no mini lessons or anchor charts.
