Description

These Second Grade Math Posters are a powerful tool to support your math curriculum. You can use these math posters as anchor charts to help introduce second grade math skills and review concepts. My 2nd graders love looking back on these and use them as a resource all year long!

I love making big anchor charts with my students to hang on my math bulletin board. Yet, over the years I have noticed that when my students want to use them as a resource, they are not always easy for them to access. All too often I will have a gathering of students next the the bulletin board, as they all need to use the same chart at once or students will want to access older charts that are under newer ones. I decided to pre-make these charts and put them in a three-ring binder for each of my students. Now, they have mini anchor charts that are easily accessible all year long! This has been a game changer for my students.

My FAVORITE part is that I use the three-ring binders as a white board. This has been the biggest time saver ever. I include a pencil pouch with a few dry erase makers and felt eraser, so students have every thing they need when we do whole group work. I created these posters to use with my 2nd grade math curriculum. Yet, I do believe many can be used in other grades, especially 1st and 3rd.
