Description
Thank you for your purchase. These are a set of
task cards as well as Powerpoint slides. The Powerpoint
slides are included so that you the teacher can review
each slide with the class as a whole group after each
student has completed the task cards. This is a great
way to review each slide with the class. This purchase
has many different skills included. This could also be used as
as start of third grade review.
Topics included in these cards/slides are:
tally marks, missing addends, expanded and standard
forms of numbers, place value, 10 and 100 more or less,
recognizing fractions, 3-digit addition with and without
regrouping, subtraction.
Some Ideas for task cards:
Individually task cards can serve as reinforcement for students who need more time achieving the specific skills needed for a topic. They are better alternatives to worksheets.
2. Preparing task cards are also good for the students that are able to complete their classwork quickly. They can be set aside for these students.
3. You can place task cards around the room and the students can walk around finding the place you've put them and record their answers
4. You can also use the task cards for a game of "Scoot". Students will be given different cards to answer for a certain amount of time. When the time allowed is up, you can ring a bell or a designated sound and the students will "scoot" to the next card recording their answers on the answer sheet.
