How do math riddle task cards work?

On each card, you'll find a grid of number options. Students use their math skills and critical thinking to solve the clues on the card in sequence, determining which of the numbers to eliminate. The number that's left at the end is the answer!

How can I use these math elimination riddle cards in my classroom?

✅ Print a set to put in your math centers.

✅ Solve a card together on your interactive board, and use it to begin a number talk.

✅ Start an online class meeting by displaying a riddle card on your screen and solving it together.

✅ Give a set to a classroom volunteer to use for one-on-one review.

✅ Use for morning tubs or "bell ringers".

✅ Challenge your early finishers to solve some cards!

✅ Use as a skills rotation, individually or with partners, with students moving to stations around the room to solve cards.

✅ Display riddle cards as an interactive bulletin board in your classroom or hallway.

✅ Use the games included in many of these sets for additional practice in math centers, or send home for extra practice.
