Description

If your second graders are anything like mine, they are in the process of becoming readers. One aspect of reading development I monitor closely is their oral reading fluency. Fluency is an important building block to comprehending connected text!

This spreadsheet allows me to visibly monitor students across the fall, winter, and spring benchmark periods. The spreadsheet identifies a weekly growth goal for each student. I monitor ORF every four weeks, at minimum. This is the tool I use for my entire class, not my RtI students.

It is not attached to any specific passages; you can use the probes you've already been using or find one of the amazing packages others posted on TPT.

There are two separate tabs: one monitors against the 50%ile and the other against the 75%ile. I only need to enter the data once and I can see how each student is growing relative to their goals!

Note: please make sure you have the right software before downloading this spreadsheet!
