Need a FUN second grade (2nd grade) spring break homework review packet for your students to review ELA standards? This short, simple, and engaging packet is NO PREP! Just print (staple if you choose) and send it home!

  • Pages 4: One page with 5 days of ELA questions and activities
  • Page 5: Blank writing page for students to complete on day 5
  • Page 6: Standards covered teacher sheet

Standards Covered:

RL.2.1: Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text.

L.2.5.b: Distinguish shades of meaning among closely related verbs (e.g., toss, throw, hurl) and closely related adjectives (e.g., thin, slender, skinny, scrawny).

RL.2.2: Recount stories, including fables and folktales from diverse cultures, and determine their central message, lesson, or moral.

L.2.1.b: Form and use frequently occurring irregular plural nouns

L.2.1.e: Use adjectives and adverbs, and choose between them depending on what is to be modified.

W.2.3: Write narratives in which they recount a well-elaborated event or short sequence of events.
