Description

Check to see if students can follow and read a line of notes. For this game, have the class play a line and freeze at certain notes to reveal a secret message. Students write the note name at the bottom of the page after each round to reveal a secret message. NOTE: the page is meant to be folded at the bottom to keep the message secret and prevent students from copying each other.

The message will say ‘be good, brave, and confident.’ Choose a line for them to play and say freeze at the right moment. If students are really following the notes, the message will be clear.

My students enjoyed this. They collaborated to come up with the answers.
