Overview:
- Therapeutic technique created in 1985 by Haarbauer-Krupa, PhD. & colleagues to treat naming deficits. (L.A. Davis & Stanton, 2005)
- Improves the organization and retrieval of semantic and episodic memory
- Based on spreading activation theory by Dell
- Commonly used with individuals with mild or moderate aphasia after CVA accidents or TBI injuries (e.g., Anomic, Broca’s, Wernicke’s, Transcortical Motor, Conduction)
