Don't forget to customize and individualize each letter based on the needs and abilities of the individual!

2. Sensory Strategies for Hyper-Sensitivity

This occupational therapy resource includes sensory strategies that can be used to help with sensory regulation for children with hyper-sensitivity to input (have a small sensory cup). The resources provides strategies and adaptations for hypersensitivity to tactile, oral, auditory, vestibular, and visual input. It also includes proprioceptive / heavy work strategies for calming and organizing the nervous system.

3. Sensory Strategies for Sensory Seekers

4. Sensory Strategies for transitioning between energy levels chart

Print out this chart and cut/paste or write the sensory strategies that help each child with regulation and transitioning between different activity levels. This chart will serve as a visual support and tool to help the child identify and choose sensory strategies to engage in when they need to transition to a different level of alertness for improved participation in activities, and to meet the demands of the activity or task at hand.

Laminate the chart and add velcro to each sensory strategy for unlimited uses in the clinic during occupational therapy, ABA, speech therapy, or physical therapy sessions, or laminate the chart once completed for the child to take home and use in the home, community or school environment!

5. OT Handout - Signs of Sensory Modulation Differences in Each Sensory System

This occupational therapy resource is an informational handout describing possible signs of sensory modulation differences that may be observed in children related to each sensory system: tactile, oral, auditory, vestibular, visual, interoception, and proprioception. The resource covers some of the signs that may be present in each sensory system for children with hypersensitivity to input, sensory seeking, and low registration of input. Great informational handout for parents and pediatric therapists!

6. OT Parent Handout - Multi-Sensory Writing Practice Home Activities
