Use these 36 strips to target answering simple questions.
Point to each word as you ask the question or help your student point as you read to increase attention.
When you get to the blank square, model the answer to the question as you point. Encourage your student say the answer after you.
Next repeat the question pointing to each word. When you get to the blank square point to it as a visual cue to communicate to your student that an answer is expected. Encourage your student fill in the correct answer. Repeat as needed until students can answer independently.
