Making Sense with Sentences is a series of sentence structure building activities that focuses on the reflection, modification, and manipulation of basic sentence structure. Sentences require an understanding of the relationship between words, phrases, and clauses. The goal of these materials is to increase the ability to connect words within a sentence in order to form the relationships necessary to make sense of sentence surface structure and to convey information.

This was a great way to carry over the correct sentence structure and to practice written expression. The sentences were easy to understand and to expand on.

I love this resource. It has a good mix of sentences and activities. The only thing I wish it had was more academic content (e.g., life cycle of a plant for science class).
