This is a sentence unit that covers subject, predicate, independent clauses, dependent clauses, simple sentences, compound sentences, FANBOYS, complex sentences, subordinating conjunctions, compound-complex sentences, and introduces the comma rules.

This unit was designed on Google and is compatible with Canvas. All items can be assigned digitally or printed for student use. All items are editable. The unit includes an animated PPT (Google Slides version) that introduces concepts and provides practice for gradual release. I have also included practice sheets, quizzes, and reference sheets for students. In the notes, I have referenced where additional practice can be found online as well. The duration of this unit will depend on the age and ability level of the students. Additional practice is included for those who may need it.
