Description
Using Capital Letters to Write Good Sentences
Writing is the last, and often the hardest domain of English for our students to learn. This resource helps students recognize that capital letters are an important part of writing good sentences! Our ELL students don't always know what to capitalize and what not to, this resource should help them know exactly when and when not to use capital letters in sentences and gives them plenty of practice to do so!
This resource includes a reference sheet, writing practice, capital letter identifying practice and scaffolded writing activities for ELL learners. Examples are given in simple sentences using common and simple English.
There are also activities for students to identify and write capital letters and write a paragraph using sentences.
Even though this is geared for ELL students, young learners would benefit from it as well.
All worksheets download as high quality PDF file.
