Sentence writing practice that is levelized to meet the needs of all the different levels in your class?? Yes, please! This fun Sentence Writing Warm-Up packet was designed to target basic and detailed sentence composition in a quick and easy to implement manner for the ENTIRE month of October. There are 25 sheets for each writing level . . . 75 sheets in all!
Note that I mentioned LEVELIZED. I want to give targeted and meaningful instruction to each and every child. In this packet you will find a beginning writer collection (copy a basic DECODABLE sentence), an emerging writer collection (add details to an existing sentence), and a developing writer collection (write your own sentence using a word bank). Each daily page also includes a challenge task for those "fast finishers."
I am choosing to have my kids do this first thing in the mornings. However, I see these pages working any time throughout the day - after recess, as a “ticket to lunch,” after lunch, etc.
