We used the foldable booklet in the classroom. Then we went to the garden. Each student was tasked with finding different mixtures in the greens-pace of our school grounds. Use their foldable to talk about mixtures that happen in nature. We used the foldable during our cooking unit and talked about how heat, force, size of particles all play a part in mixtures being easily separated back into original materials or "blended" into a new substance.
