Description
This is an original PowerPoint animation that demonstrates the different between a series circuit and a parallel circuit. It shows both the standard circuit symbols, as well as pictures, complete with batteries, light bulbs, and wires. The animation shows what happens when a bulb is removed from each circuit, demonstrating that a complete loop (circuit) is necessary in order for current to flow. The slides can be modified if the user wishes to add more bulbs, etc. Thanks! Michael Guarraia

good for physics
this was helpful for my physics students to compare and contrast series vs parallel
Hard to get the real life objects for students to use. This activity allows students to see circuits in action and know that the results are reliable. Safer to use than the real thing!
My students were very successful in this lesson. Thanks for the student friendly pages. I will be using every year from now on.
“The item was really good and worked great for my student. It met our needs, and we’re happy with the purchase.”
My students used this successfully and were engaged. I recommend it.
